Really love the unique art style and chill vibes of the VN. But I hate to say the conversation with the dog was painfully long. Personally I would prefer a more simpler way of story-telling, a really great example (without making direct comparison or contrasting one another) is The Boat by SBS which really led me into their story. In simple terms, I can resonate with a story better when I don't have to listen to excessive small talk. In my case, I had somewhat of a hard time falling in love with the characters even though they both stand out in terms of their personalities and sense of humor. SunSet Satellite can really be a great game when this gets introduced to a wider audience. Again this is coming from someone that really loves story-driven single player games. Nevertheless, I hope this comment won't turn out to be too oddly toxic or grumpy! :) Great work and keep the games coming Twilight Foundry!!
Hey QianKen, thanks for trying out our super early version of Sunset Satellite!
The Boat is definitely a very interesting experience and we understand that the experience does feel a lot like our game. This version of Sunset Satellite is definitely very rough since it's still a game jam build. While we are already working on a very much remastered version (some even say a remake) of the game, we are uncomfortable showing everyone something that we are still not happy yet.
That being said, we appreciate you taking your time to drop us your thoughts on the current build and we will definitely reflect this feedback in our future builds. Thank you for contributing to the development and the kind words! :D
